If you’d like to keep your tank top fresh throughout the year, use a blouse! If you have a black tank top and use a fluttery blouse that is buttoned up halfway, your tank suddenly becomes chiq! If you use a jean shirt over your tank top, you can achieve a “weekend in Hyannis Port” look. Layering a button-down shirt over a tank is a great way to be able to use the tank throughout the year!

If you want to make your tank look stylish while still staying cool, look at the jewelry you are adding to it. A series of bangles can make the tank go from fashionable to trendy. A beautiful necklace can take it from comfortable to classic. Jewelry truly adds to an outfit, and is one way to really spice up a ho-hum tank top.

Remember: tank tops aren’t just for the summer! With the proper additions, a tank can be worn year round. In the winter you can buy a low-cut sweater and put a tank underneath to keep it safe for work. And in the summer you can layer in order to keep your look fresh!
