Mandy's interest in jewelry design began at an early age. She would rummage through her mother's closet and take apart her beaded bags and sweaters to create jewelry pieces for herself and friends. Her father's fishing tackle box wasn't safe either! She would use fishing line, lures and swivels combined with beads to create bracelets, necklaces and earrings, which were inspired by the ocean that was at her front door. This began her quest to create unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry that no one else had.
Following her graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where Mandy studied Merchandise Marketing and Fashion Design, she joined Nordstrom. During a ten-year career there she was a buyer of Women's sportswear, junior dresses and accessories. Mandy left to pursue a dream of starting her business and doing what she loved most-designing jewelry!
She has always enjoyed working with her hands and creating what comes naturally. One of Mandy's biggest inspirations is her garden and koi pond. This is where she gets ideas for color combinations and shapes for her next collection.
