Wedding season is about to be in full swing and many women are still wondering whether or not it is okay to wear white to the nuptials. While there are some people who still disagree, most etiquette experts say that it is in fact acceptable to for a female guest to wear white to a wedding. The rule is simply that is should not resemble a wedding gown or be too risque. Seems pretty easy to me.

Women around the country are still debating when it is ok to wear white. For many years it was believed that you could only wear white from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Well ladies, I have great news, the TIMES HAVE CHANGED! You can wear white all year long! So as you are standing in your closet staring at your white pants, white skirt, or white shoes at the end of March, I am here to assure it is ok to put them on and leave the house. It narrows the waist and accentuates the smallest part of your body, under your bust. This works equally well for small busts or large busts, short or tall, larger or smaller bodies. With Spring just a few days away, you must be thinking about the somewhat daunting task of switching your closet(s) around from Winter to Spring. Strangely, I always enjoyed it but I have some strange love for cleaning out my closet. None the less, I want to share a few tips to make it easier.

First, go through all of the stuff in your closet. Try on anything that you think may not fit you anymore. If it doesn’t fit, put it in a pile to donate. Saving things in case they might fit you in the future is silly. Let’s face it, if you are 20 lbs thinner next Winter, aren’t you going to want NEW clothes? Also, donate anything you didn’t wear all Winter. Again, if you didn’t wear it this Winter, you probably won’t wear it next.

After you have cleared all the Winter stuff out, start slowly bringing the Spring clothes in, doing the same thing you did with the Winter clothes. Keep only the clothes that fit you NOW and get rid of anything you didn’t wear last Spring.
