Ok, I have been babbling on lately about new products. However, it’s that time of year where FANTASTIC new arrivals are on my brain. The Further On Cafe Dress by Butterfly Dropout is simply to awesome not to mention it. I kept one for myself and wore it the day it arrived!

Do we really even need words to tell you how GREAT this dress is? I think this dress speaks for itself. Our Butterfly Dropout dresses have been very popular and this one is truly HOT. We love the muted animal print and the body slimming silhouette. It has lots of burnout detail in the fabric and a graphic on the upper-back as well. It truly is a work of art. It’s a great transitional piece. As the weather cools down, throw a cropped cardigan or denim jacet it over it and put on some boots and you will be ready to go!

Ok, in this edition we are getting basic. Yes, I said basic. Great basics truly are the foundation of a great wardrobe. So you will surely need a few great v-neck and crew neck tee shirts. We are delighted for the arrival of our Artfulwears.com XCVI Fall Preview. This collection features a new fabric from XCVI, a Bedford cotton, which is available in the Canopy Cargo Pants. The Bedford fabric has s slightly heavier weight and a bit of texture. The Canopy Pants are a simple, easy to wear pant.

The other transitional fabric from XCVI is a brushed twill. It’s perfect for Fall. We love the Terraced Pants, a more streamlined and very chic approach to the Side Tier Palazzo Pants. Our other new favorite is the Snapper Skirt. The Snapper Skirt features the A-Line cut you love with lots of great snap details.

Last but  not least, we finally have XCVI Jackets!  The Brooklyn Jacket is ultra-cool. It features a snap inset that gives it the layered look all in one piece.

Even though many women have one or two of the same items of clothing  (or more depending on the combination of invdividuals) our closets and our wardrobes really define our personalities. Even if we do have the same dress, shirt, or pants as another woman, we wear it and accessorize it in different ways. I think it’s fascinating observing how different woman combine their wardrobe to create their own unique style.

Okay, so this is a bit early since in reality the season doesn’t change for almost two months, but in the world of fashion the end of July marks the beginning of Fall merchandise. So today as new clothing started to arrive for Fall, I began to get excited about the change of seasons. It happens every year, Spring & Fall. What is it that we love about the change of seasons? I mean I truly love Summer clothes (sundresses, mini-skirts, tank tops) but there is something about putting a great skirt, boots, and tights on in the Fall that is exhilarating. Frankly, I think we just like an excuse to buy more stuff and reinvent our looks. Any thoughts?

Rumor has it that Majestic has started to ship their Fall 2008 collection. I don’t know about anybody else but I am SO EXCITED! In addition to the great fabric blends they had before, they have new equally decadent ones.
