Tracy Matthews Designs Kasmir Collection
Tracy Matthews’ new Kasmir and Gemstone series of Necklaces, Earrings,
Bracelets and Cocktail Rings is a natural evolution of Matthews’ previous
collections of jewelry, incorporating eastern influenced shapes with hand
fabricated components and semiprecious gemstones. New to the Collection
are key items which are already getting noticed: Large format quartz and
topaz stones set “backwards” in a beautiful, eastern shape in sterling
silver. The Kasmir collection consists of Matthews’ interpretations of
women’s jewelry in the modern world. As in her other collections, this
series combines a love of eastern architecture, nature and historical
artifacts.
Matthews’ strives to create jewelry that is just as lovely alone as it is
worn with other items in the TMD collection and her personal collection.
The beauty of this group is the clean simplicity of the pieces. They can be
worn from day into evening quite easily and surely make a gorgeous statement
regardless of what you are wearing.
